IT for healthcare practices.
A practice depends on clinical systems staying available and patient information staying protected. We look after both, and deal with the software vendors on your behalf.

Shared by everyone who works in the room, and easy to forget about until it stops.
Different practices, the same constraints
Medical, dental, optometry, chiropractic, physical therapy, veterinary: the clinical software differs, and what has to hold up does not.
On HIPAA, plainly: the Security Rule expects a risk analysis and a set of administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. Where HIPAA applies to your practice, we implement those safeguards and support the analysis. We do not certify you, because no IT provider can.
Downtime is measured against the schedule
Recovery gets planned around a morning of appointments rather than a number in a contract. That usually means restores that have actually been tested, and a written answer to "what do we do this morning if it is down."
Patient data sits on shared workstations
Operatory and front-desk machines are used by several people in a day. Encryption, automatic lock, and individual logins stop being paperwork and start being the control.
Clinical systems are vendor-run
Practice management and imaging platforms are supported by their vendor. Our job is keeping the environment underneath them healthy, and dealing with that vendor so you do not have to.
- Backups with restores actually tested against the schedule
- Disk encryption and automatic lock on every workstation
- Individual logins, so activity is attributable
- MFA on mail and any remote access
- A signed business associate agreement, where one applies, before any access is granted
- Liaison with the practice management and imaging vendors
